Bonaire Eco Rentals

Breathtaking and inspiring. Steeped in responsible luxury: that is Bonaire Eco Rentals. Amidst the ruby red coral and sparkling turquoise water of Bonaire, this unique family business has established itself with a rare dedication to sustainability and the preservation of this natural paradise.

Our challenge was to shape and visualise a brand identity through photography and graphic design. An approach that brings eco-friendliness and luxurious comfort and nature conservation into harmony. Three of us from the team flew to the island. With cameras and pens and laptops.

I didn't just capture the accommodation. I tried to immortalise the soul of Bonaire Eco Rentals. The serene sunrises. The unspoilt nature. The quiet strength behind sustainable architecture.

Then we built the brand. A style guide with typography and colour palette. A logo in four colour variants. A brochure with the promise Embrace the Ocean. Experience Elegance. And a website with an overview of the beach houses and villas and a page to choose your stay. There was even a wooden gift box with the logo engraved in the lid.

The photography is the brand. A terrace with infinity pool and sea view. An open-plan living room with wooden beams. A bedroom with French doors to the water. Aerial photographs of the villas and of a catamaran. Together they form a collage of nine atmospheric images that show what it's like to stay there.

The work ran from 2022 to 2024. Every detail from the pixel on the screen to the paper of the brochure had to suit the sustainable ethos of the company. Together they blow like a sea breeze through the brand experience: fresh and authentic and infused with natural elegance.

The style guide proved transferable. The client now continues the visual language on social media themselves.
